Key dates as Kinder Morgan pursues its Northeast Energy Direct natural gas pipeline project:
March: First draft of environmental review due at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).
June: Updated, revised environmental review document to be filed.
September: Official application filing expected, including final environmental review.
Oct. 2016: Application decision from FERC anticipated.
Jan. 2017: If approved, tree removal along route begins.
April 2017: First phase of construction starts.
April 2018: Final phase of construction starts.
Nov. 2018: Pipeline ready to go online.
